There is no rule against it, but it will be hard to play(well that is) like this. If it works for you great.

Yes. A baseball grip is entirely legal. TW has a modified interlock grip where the pinky of the right hand interlocks with the forefinger of the left hand.. Then there is the overlap , where the pinky of the right hand overlaps the forefinger of the left hand. Put your 10 fingers on the grip of the club and you are good to go.

Sure. You could use the Baseball Grip, Overlapping Grip, or Interlocking Grip. The Baseball Grip would be for those players who have a weaker swing and could use more power.

Yes, you can grip the club any way you want. There no rules prohibiting any type of grip. But I wouldn’t recommend a baseball bat type grip, check out some books on golf instruction at the library, because the grip is very very important. Good luck to you and have fun!!

I occaisionally get arthritis in my right ring finger, so I have to use a baseball (or 10 finger grip) to play. I also have a friend who uses a 10 finger grip and he is a longer ball striker than me.

The baseball grip or ten finger grip is not recommend for most golfers - the overlapping or interlocking grips are far more adaptable.

The baseball grip gives you good leverage and is a substitute grip that can be used by children or women. The disadvantage is that it produces less club head speed which means less distance.

Try the overlapping grip, especially if you have larger hands or longer fingers. It is considered the best grip to unify your hands.

If you have smaller hands or shorter fingers then the best grip to try would be the interlocking grip.

It’s allowed. You can hold the club however you want to. I don’t think it’s very effective.

It is allowed, but few people are able to make it work very well.
