My ring is larger than most, and it seems to bother me when i grip the club. All my friends wear their rings and say they can’t even feel it.

Hi mine doesn’t bother me maybe try it out for a while you get use to it
Mine did not SEEM to bother me, however, I really do think it effects my grip. I stopped playing with it on.
Most golfers have no problem swinging a golf club when wearing a wedding ring. If you remove it make sure it is in your pocket. Removed my first engraved band, missed the watch pocket ( we had those in our day) and good bye!
It’s not only the guys. We lady golfers have the same problem. I know of a few ladies who have to take off both their engagement and wedding rings in order to grip their golf clubs comfortably.
I have trouble with my grip when I’m using my wedding ring. I leave it inside my car before I play golf and put it back after playing.
that must be a big ring. my ring just sinks under the meat of my fingers when I grip the beer…I mean club.
Two guys I play with regularly are married; both remove their rings while playing as it interferes with their grip (one of them has a very expensive ring and is fearful of it getting damaged).
Both will put them on once we’re done playing.
I made the mistake of taking off my wedding ring when I golfed and put it in the same pocket with my golf glove. So somewhere on a golf course in Virginia is my original wedding ring. I was able to get an exact one from the same place, but it is not the original. This one never comes off and over the last 27 years, I don’t even notice it anymore. So, on or off, just make sure you don’t lose it.
Mine has never bothered me. But its a simple comfort-band style ring. I’m sure it would bother me if I had a bigger ring or one with anything on it.
